With the wet weather and warmer temperatures, mosquito populations will be invading our back yards and open space in masse. Beyond the itchy red welts from a mosquito bite; mosquitoes are carriers or vectors for some of humanity’s most deadly diseases. While the Zika virus has not been detected yet in Colorado, it is only a matter of time before it spreads into the northern climates.
There are steps you can take to reduce the impact around your home. Mosquitoes prefer stagnant, dirty and even contaminated water for breeding. They have adapted well to humans; an old used tire is a perfect place for making little mosquitoes. Eliminating dark, wet and safe spaces for breeding will help to reduce their overall impact on your space.
We can help with structural insect and mosquito control programs. Keeping you and your family safe is our top priority.
